How To Create a FREE Blog

You can BLOG for free, if you created a free blog, using the free blog site. There are very many free blogging sites, but the most recommended is BLOGGER, which is powered by GOOGLE. The free one, which is blogger, ends with “blogspot.com”, though the blogspot.com can be removed if you buy a custom domain for your blog. I am letting you know how to create a free blog of your choice and free of charge. This is a very good teaching for you if you are interested in how to create a free blog on blogspot.com.

A blog is being used to share things online. You can use it to share news, videos, tutorials, pictures, etc to the whole world and even make money online or offline while doing it. Because some peolple pay money only to learn how to create a blog, and now I am teaching you a free blog creation.

Let’s get started……………..

STEP 1
go to www.blogger.com or www.blospot.com (They are all the same, the difference is just the addresses)

STEP 2
Click on “Get Started” as seen in the picture above. Then you will see a page like this one.

STEP 3
On the page, you will create a Google Account which you will use for your blog and other Google Services. If you already have a Gmail Account, please click on the “Sign in first” link at the top of the page. If you do not have a Gmail Account, fill the form accordingly.
Display Name: this is the name that will appear under your blog posts, is like a signature. You can enter your name or a nickname.
Accept their terms and condition, and then click on continue.

STEP 4

You willsee a page like this one below:

Blog title: This will be seen at the top of your blog and should be relevant, i.e it should really define the kind of post you want to post on your blog. E.g. How To Make Money Online, this means you are writing about money making.
Blog Address: Let the address relate directly to what you will be blogging about. For example you want to write about “fashion”, then you can try “fashiontips”. Displaying your name is not the best way, because is not good to let them know you own it. You can “check availability” to see if the address is available or not used. If not available use another address. Click on “continue” .

STEP 5
You will see a new page where you can choose your templates as seen in the picture below:

Choose the template you like, it doesn’t matter the type or style you select, it is all your choice. You can always change it at a later date but for this example, I will choose the “Simple template.

Avoid the “Dynamic Views” for now, should in case it as part of the options.
Once you have chosen your template, click on “continue”

Your blog is now created. You can now start blogging.

Please take note of your address because that is what you will be sharing with people for them to visit your blog.
